In so doing, we partner with our customers to build a sustainable future! As an Engineer at Trane, you will be responsible for designing the equipment and systems that support these goals. You will collaborate with engineering teams, develop concepts for new & improved commercial HVAC products and solve complex technical problems, leading to production of sustainable new products. \n


Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed on-site in our Trane La Crosse R&D Lab 3-days each week.

What you will do:

    \n
  • Meet the needs of internal and external customers, through documenting, understanding and prioritizing customer requirements.
  • \n
  • Deliver technical designs to meet project and product requirements
  • \n
  • Apply technical expertise to solve design problems or to gauge appropriateness of product to various applications.
  • \n
  • Participate on project teams to meet performance, reliability, cost and schedule objectives.
  • \n
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, including 3D models, bills of materials, drawings, and specifications.
  • \n
  • Conduct design FMEAs; develop and execute resulting risk mitigation plans.
  • \n
  • Both domestic and international travel may be required. Estimated travel is 10%.

What you will bring:

    \n
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • \n
  • Emphasis on acoustics and/or noise control is preferred.
  • \n
\n


Compensation:

$60,000 - $123,000 annually. Disclaimer: This pay range is based on US national averages. Actual pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
