Job Description

The Sales Manager in the automotive industry supervises a team of salespeople. The primary goal is to sell cars, providing direction and motivation to maximize inventory turnover. Additional duties include hiring, coaching, training, and setting sales goals. The manager also develops annual sales budgets, monitors inventory, and fosters good guest relations. Responsibilities extend to marketing, advertising, and executing special promotions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide guidance to sales staff during negotiations.
2. Engage with all new and used car customers before they leave.
3. Maintain CSI scores above regional benchmarks.
4. Market and merchandise inventory, including lot appearance and sale tags.
5. Maintain a positive work environment.
6. Follow up with customers within 24 hours.
7. Ensure showroom, office, and guest areas are clean and presentable.
8. Update sales forecasts and track activity.
9. Conduct oneself professionally and responsibly.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Learn additional responsibilities for career advancement.
2. Conduct effective training meetings.
3. Review daily D.O.C. for accuracy.
4. Hold daily one-on-one meetings with salespeople.

Job Details: Full-Time

Dress code: Kocourek pressed shirts, dress pants, and dress shoes.

Requirements: Valid drivers license and completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
