Job Description

Vaco is currently assisting a top banking client in their search for a Banking Processing Specialist in their Colombus Ohio office! The Processing Specialist will oversee monitoring work requests, performing data entry, and ensuring the completion of processes related to both client and internal customer requests. This is a fully onsite position paying up to $25 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Operations Manager in handling transactions related to client requests, including tasks such as processing physical mail, reviewing high-dollar remote deposits (RDC), managing VOD letters, proof-of-authorization, reviewing exception and payment in-boxes, setting up homeowner payments, and handling address change requests.
• Maintain a broad understanding of the bank’s products, services, policies, and procedures. Work collaboratively within a team, supporting colleagues to manage and balance workloads effectively.
• Leverage various systems and tracking tools to stay organized, ensure timely completion of all requests, and provide exceptional customer service. Strong task management and professionalism are crucial.
• Actively engage in bank training programs and apply the knowledge gained to job tasks.
• Participate in team projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in Branch Banking Operations or a similar field.
• High school diploma required.
• Basic understanding of general banking operations, including deposit services, loan administration, treasury management, and commercial banking products.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and legal compliance obligations, industry rules, and practices.
