Job Description

Maine Recycling is hiring full-time Local Class A Drivers for route pickup. We operate within 150 air miles, so no logs are required. Predictable hours Monday through Friday, no weekends or overnights required.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Accurate accounting for materials recovered.
• Proper loading of trailers.
• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and report any issues.
• Constructive evaluation of stops, routing, and general practices.
• Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
• Effective communication with in-house staff and customers.
• Operate iPad for DVIR and Invoicing.
• Communicate thoroughly with management while on the road. 

Proper Candidate:

• Flexible and acclimates well to change.
• Positive attitude.
• Team player.
• Class A driver's license in good standing.
• Enjoys working outside during Maine's four seasons.
• Represents Maine Recycling well in the general public.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: $28.00/hour to start.

Maine Recycling currently acts as a pickup and processing agent for some of the largest beverage manufacturers in Northern New England. Our fleet of 30 trucks with over 200 trailers enables us to provide state wide pickup services for both new and existing beverage distributors in Maine. MRC currently employs 80 to 100 employees operating from our Lisbon Falls location.MRC has now expanded and opened a Redemption Center. Speedy Redemp is in Topsham, ME.
