Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Forklift Mechanic role in Noti. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to operational excellence. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining high standards in their maintenance and repair processes.
Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Conduct quality checks on repaired equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with workplace safety regulations.
Load, unload, and transport equipment or parts as needed, ensuring proper handling and inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to address operational challenges and meet maintenance schedules.
Accurately document repair processes, parts usage, and maintenance activities.
Participate in routine cleaning and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or operational concerns to supervisors.
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a forklift mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and guidelines is a plus, but training will be provided.
Being a self-starter is a plus.
Experience as a Hyster mechanic is a plus.
Experience with rolling stock mechanics is a plus.
Diesel mechanic experience is a plus.
