Overhead Crane Operator, $20 . 00/hr . – Huger, SC

We are looking for experienced overhead crane operators for a steel manufacturing plant. If this is you, apply today!

Responsibilities :

• Operate crane to transport materials to and from storage areas, workstations, and within other areas of assignment
• Load, transport, unload, and stack materials in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain up-to-date forklift and overhead crane certification

Skills :

• Ability to accurately select and load material properly to meet customer and production requirements
• Ability to read and understand material tags and work orders
• Ability to use tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• 2+ years Overhead Crane experience

This is a safety sensitive position. This work is performed in a manufacturing setting with moderate to high levels of noise due to machinery and equipment process. The temperature of the facility will vary based on the outside weather conditions. This position requires the use of personal protective equipment for safety compliance and may include overtime as deemed necessary by management.
