As the Patient Care Associate, under the direction of the RN, will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care. Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time, the members of the Division of Patient Care Services commit themselves to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

• Fosters good communication with patients, families, nurses, and other team members
• With guidance and oversight of the Registered Nurse, performs duties to support the daily care of the patient .
• Observes patient for reaction to treatments, change in status and immediately reports changes to appropriate personnel.

Requirements: 

• Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills.
• High School diploma: GED equivalent.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• Current Maryland CNA or GNA License.
