Responsible for evaluating and providing physical therapy services to students within a school setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and student guardians to support student health and development. Develops and implements individualized therapy programs, monitors progress, and maintains accurate records. May supervise assistants and travel between multiple school locations to ensure appropriate care delivery.

Supplemental Health Care is working with a school district in Bolivia, North Carolina to hire Physical Therapists. School-Based Physical Therapist Contract Details:

• $45 – $48.50 per hour
• 1-week contracts
• $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
• Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
• Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• May be asked to travel between school locations
• May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements:

• North Carolina Physical Therapist License
• American Heart Associaton BLS
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
