School-based Physical Therapist providing evaluation, therapeutic interventions, and progress monitoring for students within a school district. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and student guardians to develop and implement individualized therapy programs. May travel between locations and supervise assistants to support student well-being and educational goals.

We’re currently hiring in San Jose, California to support a school district in need of Physical Therapists.

School-Based Physical Therapist Contract Details:

• $53 – $57.50 per hour
• 13-week contracts
• $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
• Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
• Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• May be asked to travel between school locations
• May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements:

• California Physical Therapist License
• American Heart Associaton BLS
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
