Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

Founded more than 75 years ago as a community hospital, today we operate three clinics, 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient medical/surgical services. About The Job:

• The Diagnostic Radiographer will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Imaging Services Department at Mitchell County Regional Health Center

Position:

• 0.9 FTE 36 Hours Per Week

• 8-hour Day shifts Sun-Saturday

• All shifts required

• Rotation of call hours

Salary: Starts at $25.12 increases with experience

What we need from you:

• Education : Shall be credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic

• Special Skills, Competencies, and Aptitudes:

Must possess a current Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) Permit to Practice in Radiology.

Must be flexible for the staffing of all shifts, weekends, holidays, and call duties.

Must provide proof of Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (BLS Healthcare Provider) prior to employment and continue to maintain current certification in BLS.

Complete Mandatory Reporting requirement within 90 days of hire.

Renew Mandatory Reporting requirements every 5 years.
