RN - ICU Days at Central Carolina Hospital summary:

The ICU RN provides comprehensive critical care to patients using nursing processes including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They address the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families while collaborating with healthcare team members regarding patient condition changes. This role requires an Associate degree, current RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within six months of hire.

Position Summary:
The ICU RN provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family. Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team as appropriate about changes in the patient̢۪s condition or response to treatment. Basic PC skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education
Associate degree is required. Bachelor̢۪s degree is preferred

Required Licenses:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)

Required Certification:
BLS required
ACLS is required within 6 months of hire

Other:
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
