Summary TTG Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in data lifecycle management and ETL tool development. We are looking for a candidate who excels in data engineering programming and is comfortable working with both cloud and on-prem environments.Description Develop new tools, code, and services for data engineering activities involving diverse data types and conditions, including structured and unstructured data movement. Perform data ingestion for storage at local or enterprise levels and develop code to format data for exploration. Collaborate with Data Scientists and partners to analyze source data formats and develop necessary transforms. Create code and tools for data extraction, formatting, and transformation into enterprise or standalone data models. Design and optimize data pipelines using tools like Spark, Apache Iceberg, Trino, OpenSearch, EMR cloud services, NiFi, and Kubernetes containers. Maintain data pedigree and provenance while collaborating with various teams to enhance data standards and ensure data quality.Experience LevelSenior 3 years of unrelated experience = 1 year of related experience. Bachelors preferred. Master's degree = 1 year of additional related experience. 3 certifications and/or other applicable credentials = 1 year of additional related experience. Required Skills
* 10+ years experience in data lifecycle engineering
* Development and maintenance of ETL tools and services
* Cloud and on-prem data storage and processing solutions
* Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and other data engineering programming languages
* Experience with COTS and open source data engineering tools such as ElasticSearch and NiFi
* Experience processing data within the Agile LifecycleOptional Skills
* Experience with advanced analytics data preprocessing
* Experience collaborating with enterprise working groups on data standards

Base Salary $185,000 - $224,000 PTO 30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays. Retirement 15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years. Paid Benefits Company pays all insurance expenses up to 8% of base pay. If your insurance expenses are less that that, we bonus the difference to you. Annual Bonuses 3% to 5% annual bonuses. Cell Phone Stipend $100 monthly phone expense reimbursement. Base Salary $224,000 Base salary for position. Retirement $33,600 15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years. Benefits Budget $44,800 20% company paid Individual Benefits Account (12% for 30-days PTO, 8% for Insurances). If your insurance or PTO expenses are less than this, we bonus the difference to you. Annual Bonus $11,200 Annual bonus, 3% to 5% on average. Training Budget $2,500 Annual training budget. Training Hours $2,600 3 paid days for training.
